The cornerstone of the TherapeuticsMD information strategy is the patent pending OPERA™ system (Ongoing Physician, Payor and Patient Evaluation Reporting and Analysis).
OPERA aggregates data collected from a large sampling of physicians, payors and patients to drive efficiency, effectiveness and compliance data to the physicians and payor while reducing cost for all, including the patient. TherapeuticsMD sells to OBGYNs through a direct sales force and has quickly developed relationships with many of the largest OBGYN groups. Physicians then refer patients directly to an online portal creating significant cost efficiencies and improving convenience for the customer.
